Food was good. Drinks had way to much lemon in them. Waitress was more into the guy she just served than getting food for a kid. Order was never put in
I'm a trashy truck driver & I always stop here for grub. Always had a good experience. The waitresses are always friendly. I do miss the Hearty Platter resturant that was here, but watcha gonna do? My waitress, I think her name was Sam was real cool & took good care of me! I'll be back! "DRAGON"
Waited to be seated while hostess was on break. The primary server for the bar did not get my order. It was done by another and put in under the others number. Disorganized and no leadership. The spot next to me stayed dirty my whole visit. When this was the hearty platter, it was nice. But no more
I ordered ahead to accommodate a tight schedule. The staff were very accommodating and had the good ready within minutes of my arrival. Everything was hot from the griddle. They have gluten free English muffins, which after months sans bread was heavenly. I had to scarf down my omelette, but my server even got me a lemonade to go, knowing that I was headed to the bus. 10/10 and one million times better than the McDonald's next door if your bus stops for a break in Tomah, WI.
Hard to believe I'm actually giving a Denny's a 5 star rating as Denny's around the nation is typically not my cup. The service was courteous, prompt and proactive. The food was prepared perfectly to my liking. Hash browns were light with the perfect amount of crunch on top, eggs fluffy (not rubbery like most Denny's) and toast was lightly toasted and served warm. Most times toast comes out burnt and cold. Anyhoo, a most pleasant surprise! Kudos to their morning team and our server Lindsey ☺️
